Rachael Markarian

Originally from Boston, Rachael resides in Los Angeles with a versatile and successful career in the Entertainment Industry.

Rachael was introduced to the arts at a young age, taking up dance to correct an innate handicap she had with her legs. Quickly falling in love with it, she attended a Performing Arts High School immersing herself in dance, theatre and music. As a teenager, Rachael trained at some of the most prestigious schools in New York City, solidifying her dream to pursue a career in Entertainment. She then went on to attend Oklahoma City University as a Theatre & Dance Performance Major.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Rachael has been in over 30 Films, TV Shows & Commercials, ranging from Co-Stars, to Guest Stars, Recurring, Supporting and Lead roles. Some of her Film & TV credits include Legion, Glee, True Blood, Rush Hour 3, Gilmore Girls Revival, Mascots, How I Met Your Mother, CSI, Dr. Ken, No Strings Attached, Microsoft, Target, Chevy, Farmer's Insurance, H&M and many more. These wonderful opportunities have allowed her to work with well-respected Directors like Ryan Murphy, Steven Soderberg, Amy Sherman-Palladino, Christopher Guest, Tim Mielants, David LaChapelle & Mathew Cullen to name a few.

Her love for Theatre led her to play the lead role in Craig Wright’s Pulitzer Prize nominated play, The Pavillion, at the Malibu Playhouse.

As a performer, Rachael has toured & danced for Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Cher and more. She's performed in two Super Bowl Halftime Shows and has been a Guest Performer on numerous shows like Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, The Grammy's, MTV VMAs, American Music Awards, The Billboard Awards, The Masked Singer as well as countless Music Videos, Industrials & Live Shows. She's honored to have worked with some of the most well-respected Artists, Choreographers & Artistic Directors in the Industry.

Knowing the importance of being a hybrid entertainer, Rachael thrives both in front of the camera and for live audiences. Constantly working on her craft, she's been fortunate to train with Stella Adler's protege, Arthur Mendoza in his Master Classes at The Actor's Circle Theatre, as well as with Alice Carter, Ivana Chubbuck, John Hindman, Michael Laskin, John Lacy and Brian Reise.

Her versatility and knowledge in the business has opened many doors in her career. Passionate about creating content, Rachael recently completed The Hunta pilot she co-wrote, produced and stars in, that is currently making the festival rounds.

Rachael is also passionate about giving back and sharing her knowledge for dance with the next generation of artists. As a well-respected Master Teacher, Rachael shares her passion with aspiring artists, both domestically and internationally. She hopes to encourage others to pursue their dreams and feel empowered by the impact artists can make on each other and our culture. She's the proud owner of the In-Studio Intensive, The Dancer's Edge (visit TDE/COMPANY page) as well as a faculty member on the prestigious convention, NRG Dance Project, and a teacher for CLI Studios.
